The Excellence in Patient Care team congratulates Jeffrey Perl, MD, MSc, co-chair of EPC’s Home Dialysis Project’s Steering Committee, for receiving ASN’s Distinguished Leader Award at Kidney Week 2023 in Philadelphia! During the COVID epidemic Dr. Perl was invaluable as the chair of the Home Dialysis Subcommittee of the ASN COVID-19 Response Team. Additionally, Dr. Perl is a primary investigator in the international Peritoneal Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (PDOPPS) and co-principal investigator of the Optimizing the Prevention of Peritoneal Dialysis-Associated Peritonitis in the U.S. (OPPUS) study.  Well-deserved Dr. Perl!!
