About FIND
Fostering Innovative Leaders in Nephrology and Dialysis (FIND) is a leadership training program specifically focusing improving outcomes and experiences for people who are living with kidney diseases.
FIND aims to empower future generations of nephrology professionals who will drive innovation, advance clinical care, and champion positive policy change for people living with kidney diseases.
We invite early-career nephrology professionals who are motivated to grow and build a strong foundation for leadership.
This program offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills, gain strategies for overcoming professional challenges, and create a clear roadmap for career advancement. Guided by nephrology leaders with various experiences, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you prepare to lead with confidence in the healthcare field.
What You Can Expect as a Participant
Comprehensive 12-month Program
A structured curriculum that integrates didactic instruction, experiential learning, and career development. A blended learning approach combines monthly live virtual sessions with periodic self-directed modules for continuous engagement.

Longitudinal Mentorship
Each participant is matched with a senior leader in nephrology for individualized, longitudinal mentorship. Through regular one-on-one meetings, mentors provide guidance on leadership development, professional growth, and Capstone Project refinement, fostering meaningful relationships that extend beyond the program.
Future Opportunities
Participation provides early-career nephrology professionals with a clearer pathway to national engagement, including potential involvement in ASN initiatives and leadership activities. Alumni of the program are well-positioned for continued professional advancement within the broader nephrology community.
