Efforts have been dedicated to improving patient retention on home dialysis therapies. This session addresses the clinical challenges that are potential barriers to keeping patients on home therapies.

- Identify the challenges of managing vascular access in patients on home hemodialysis
- Describe ways to adjust the peritoneal dialysis prescription in anuric patients
- Outline the causes and management of peritoneal dialysis catheter challenges, including catheter malfunction, pain, and leaks
