HDP Mission

To improve awareness and outcomes of home dialysis therapies by enhancing education of kidney care professionals and trainees, addressing disparities in access to home dialysis, and advocating for policies that improve access to all dialysis treatment options in order to promote the highest quality of care.

Learn about the conceptual framework and proposed pathway to certification, ask questions, and share your perspectives through live interactive discussion. Your feedback will help shape the future of ASN’s Centers of Excellence in Home dialysis initiative.

Core Interventions for the Prevention of Peritoneal Dialysis (PD)–Related Infections

Learn more about the Core Interventions for the Prevention of PD–Related Infections. Developed by PD experts, the interventions focus on reducing peritonitis, exit site, and tunnel infections through six key strategies: surveillance and feedback, standardized staff training, patient education, routine infection prevention assessments, exit site antimicrobial prophylaxis, and prophylactic antimicrobials for procedures and events.
