I have an experience as an attending for more than a decade in Pakistan before joining as a fellow at VCU. I have done specialty certificate from UK and organ transplant certification from University of Liverpool UK. I have published 35 papers and love teaching. The most important thing is I am passionate about nephrology.

I am a second-year Nephrology fellow at Washington University in St. Louis. My clinical interests include dialysis and patient-centered kidney care, with a particular interest in home dialysis modalities. I am excited to participate in Home Dialysis University to deepen my understanding of home dialysis, improve my ability to educate and support patients, and learn strategies to help patients successfully transition to and maintain home-based therapies.

I’m from the DC area, I’m doing my nephrology fellowship at University of Illinois Chicago. I’m interested in diabetic CKD.

Hi everyone, you can call me Camila! I am a second year at NYP-CUIMC. I have a growing interest on PKD, home dialysis, and Women’s health. I graduated from the University of Jordan and completed my Internal Medicine residency before working as an attending physician. During my training, I developed a deep fascination with the kidneys and their remarkable role in the human body, which inspired me to pursue a Nephrology fellowship. My name is Ruwaida Ben Musa. I am a nephrology fellow at the University of Missouri. I have a strong interest in kidney diseases, dialysis, and transplant nephrology, and I am passionate about improving patient care through both clinical practice and research. Before starting my fellowship, I completed a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, where my research focused on cardiovascular and autonomic mechanisms in hypertension. This experience has shaped my interest in bridging basic science with clinical medicine.

Hi everyone! I’m Neha, a second-year nephrology fellow at UC San Diego. I completed my internal medicine residency at Scripps Mercy in San Diego before staying at UCSD for fellowship. Hi, I’m Jesus Alfonso C. Catahay, you can call me AJ for short! Currently, I am the Chief Nephrology Fellow at Montefiore Medical Center in NY. My interests include clinical nephrology, medical education, and research. Outside of medicine, I enjoy cooking, training for the NYC 2026 marathon, and playing pickleball.

Hi! My name is Michael Chau and I’m a second year nephrology fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. I’m interested in home modalities, CKD, space movies, running, weight lifting, and biking.

I am Eliezer Dade, a nephrology fellow with a primary interest in transplant nephrology, and a broader interest in kidney health, medical education, and research. I trained in Haiti and continued my training in the United States. I enjoy learning, teaching, and building meaningful professional relationships. Outside of medicine, I love spending time with family, exploring nature, walking, discovering new places, and taking on new challenges. Looking forward to strengthening my CRRT skills and connecting with classmates who share similar interests.

I am a nephrology fellow at Loma Linda University Medical Center with clinical interests in glomerular diseases, polycystic kidney disease, and home dialysis therapies. I am also passionate about research and medical education. Outside of medicine, I have enjoyed playing badminton, always enjoyed drawing and painting, and I especially love medical illustration as a way to combine art with nephrology.

After earning a biology degree at the University of Pittsburgh, I worked as a clinical trial coordinator on a project examining the effects of caloric restriction on breast cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy. During this time, I developed a deep awareness of health literacy challenges among patients and cultivated a passion for improving health outcomes through education. I attended Wake Forest School of Medicine with this goal in mind, and my clinical training solidified my dedication to preventive care and serving underserved populations. I completed internal medicine residency at Cambridge Hospital, a safety-net hospital whose population highlighted the impact of social determinants of health and healthcare inequities. There, I was trained to create treatment and discharge plans tailored to patients’ unique social circumstances. As a budding nephrologist, my professional interests include patient education, reducing healthcare disparities, and preventing CKD progression through lifestyle modifications. I am currently receiving nephrology training at MGH/BWH to become a nephrologist who contributes to the advancement of equitable renal care. Outside of medicine, I enjoy reading non-fiction, taking walks along the Charles, and cooking Korean food.

Alvin Kwon, MD, MPH, is a nephrology fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center completing an MSCI in clinical investigation. He received his medical degree from the Catholic University of Korea, earned an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and trained in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic.

Jacob Lambertsen grew up in rural Utah before earning a Bachelor of Science from Southern Utah University. He attended medical school at Wright State University and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He is currently completing his nephrology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Jacob plans to practice rural nephrology, improving access to specialty kidney care in medically underserved communities through expanded home dialysis therapies. He is also interested in pre-clinical medical education. Outside of medicine, he enjoys vegetable gardening, cooking, spending time outdoors, and reading.

Hi everyone! My name is Yvette Lopez, and I’m currently a second-year Nephrology fellow at Mayo Clinic Arizona. I’m originally from Texas and have loved getting to explore Arizona with my husband and our rescue dog. We especially enjoy hiking in Sedona. I have a strong interest in home dialysis especially home hemodialysis and am excited to learn more about home modalities this year. Hi everyone, I’m Elaine. I’m from Rancho Cucamonga, California and am a 2nd year nephrology fellow at UCLA! When not practicing nephrology, I enjoy time with family/friends and trying to make new things from scratch (i.e. bread, tortillas, pasta).

I’m a second year nephrology fellow at a university hospital with a strong interest in patient centered kidney care and innovation in dialysis delivery. My work emphasizes practical solutions that improve the quality of life and expand access to home therapies. I am originally from Greece and I moved in the USA in 2022 to start my residency in Cambridge, MA. I am currently living in NH where I do my nephrology fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.  I am excited to participate in the home dialysis university because these two modalities of RRT are not as common in Greece as in the USA I hope, with the training I will receive, to bridge this gap. Living in rural NH is a new experience for me. During the summer I enjoy swimming in the lakes, running outside while on the winter I spend my free time in the gym and playing escape room type board games.

Hello! I’m Sundeep Ram, a Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology Fellow at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. With a background as a hospitalist, my professional focus is centered on optimizing patient outcomes, health IT, and medical education. I’m looking forward to expanding my knowledge in home dialysis modalities and connecting with colleagues during this course. Outside of medicine, you can usually find me out on the golf course or spending time in the garden.

I am a Nephrology Fellow at George Washington University. I completed my Internal Medicine residency and served as Chief Resident at Staten Island University Hospital Northwell Health. My clinical and research interests include critical care nephrology, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), shock, and extracorporeal therapies. Dr. Oluwaseye Samuel is a nephrology fellow at the University of Missouri Healthcare with extensive training in internal medicine and nephrology. He earned his medical degree and completed residency and nephrology fellowship training in Nigeria before pursuing advanced fellowship training in the United States. His clinical interests include chronic kidney disease, dialysis, kidney transplantation, and glomerular diseases. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care while contributing to medical education and clinical research. He plans to build a career as an academic nephrologist with a focus on excellence in patient care and teaching.
